I've lost my Mortgage interest cert..

Hi

Am trying to submit my end of year tax return but I've lost my mortgage interest cert.

I have my statement of my mortgage account for the year though - would the amount of interest charged be the sum of the 12 debits of interest to my account for the year ie the sum of each monthly interest payment?
