what happens if you pass the 12 week consent to sell period?

Hi,
I'm currently selling my property. My mortgage provider (BOI) gave consent to sell, and the letter stated this consent was given for 12 weeks, which are up on Friday coming (24th August). I have a buyer and the contracts are with their solicitors at the moment, but it's unlikely that everything will be sorted out by Friday. Does anyone know what happens if you pass the 12 week consent period? Do you need to seek the bank's consent again, or is it simply a matter of calling them up and asking them to extend it?
Thanks

Don't worry. If you have a willinging purchaser at an acceptable price the bank will quickly renew the consent. Send them a letter or give them a call and they will extend!
