Illness Benefit while employed and self-employed

Hi everyone,
I have a question regarding the above.

My circumstances are that I am in full-time employment and also play music for my local church at the weekend for which I am paid per service.

I am currently out of my employed work due to stress and am applying for illness benefit.

It's the time of the year that I also return to my music work. I consider this music work theraputic and not stressful. Can I continue playing music and be paid for it while out of my employed work on illness benefit ?

I would think it would raise red flags for SW if you're being paid whilst ostensibly being too ill to work.

Does your Doctor who is presumably signing off on your illness benefit agree that it is therapeutic, is your Doctor aware that you are doing it?
