We were there in 2005 with kids aged 12, 6 and 1. We thought it was fantastic, probably the best quality campsite we have been to in Europe over the years. Very well run, lots of facilities, security highly visible on-site, good restaurant, varied entertainment in the amphitheatre, lovely pool area and very short walk to the beach.
However, it is in the middle of no-where really so you would definitely need a car, especially if you are thinking of going for two weeks.
There are lots of opportunities for daytrips if you have your own wheels; Salou/Cambrils, Port Aventura theme park, Tarragona, Monserrat, and Barcelona to name a few, although you would probabaly be better off taking the train or campsite bus to Barcelona, rather than drive yourself.
It is a very popular campsite though so I would imagine there is little availability for the Summer months at this stage.
