Dirt Exemption for Regular Savings Accounts

Does DIRT exemption apply for over 65's for these types of accounts, I reckon no:(
 
Provided your income is below the exemption limit, and you fill out a new DE1 for each account, you can get the interest gross.

I have DE on what are basically deposit a/c's but not sure if a regular 'savings' account would be included are am I being too pedantic:D

There is no difference between the tax treatment on a regular saver product and other types of deposit products.
