We have been receiving Rent supp for over a yr now & about 6 weeks ago we had to send in forms for a review. What happens next? Will we only receive contact if the limit is changing etc? If the limit is lowered we will have to move as our landlords wont drop the rent so we are anxious to know if we should be looking at renting a cheaper place

Maximum Rent limits were lowered in January, you can find the details here (at the bottom of the page): The limits applied to new customers from Jan, and to existing customers from their claim review date, so are likely to apply to you now.

If your circumstances haven't changed, and the rent is on or below the max rent limit for your family size and location, then if the forms have been returned as requested there may be no other contact and your payment will continue as normal.

If your rent exceeds the max rent limit, then you should receive further information from the SWA officer or Rent Office re same.
