hi is there a precedent, where, in a civil case (over a debt owed to a bank) where the plaintiff (bank) has a barrister and solicitor in court and the defendant is representing himself, has applied for and qualifies for legal aid, but the judge is not prepared to wait the ,now 10=11 months of a waiting period for the defendant to see a legal aid solicitor
sorry for the long winded explanation and thanks in advance, i also realise that legal advice has to be paid for
cheers donee

Judge should grant the adjournment so that there would be "equality of arms"
