Hello, A friend of mine is due to travel to Spain with aer lingus tomorrow, She will have her baby with her and would like to know if she can bring baby food through security on to the flight, Thanks in advance for any help.

I would check the rules online with Dublin airport etc. I've had to prove my babies milk was real by drinking some of it etc. Just bring enough for travelling and buy what you need on the other side. All airports have things like bananas, yogurts that will do just as well for the day of travel.

I flew in Feb from Dub to Glasgow and had no problem bringing 2 x 240 ml bottles through and one of those ready-made cartons. They take them and scan them separately, but it's fine. The things I found trickier were remembering to have a nappy cream small enough to go in the liquids bag and the fact that you have to take the baby out of the buggy at security , hence the problem of having to get him back in 2 seconds later! I was on my own tho, easier if there's two of you
