Referral money

Hey

I was at an interview and the woman asked me if I could refer anyone else to her for interview as it would cost her a lot less to pay me for the referral than a recruitment agency! I didnt accept that job. But I have someone now that I can refer to that company for interview!
Do you have to be IN a company to get the referral payment?

Not necessarily. Was she promising you a payment on successful placement of a candidate recommended by you or just for referring somebody for interview? The former I would presume? Either way you might want to get something in writing in order to be confident that you can actually collect sich a payment should the situation arise.
