As usual dreadful service from Ulster Bank which appears to get worse by the day.
We have joint deposit savings account which required registration for Anytime banking. Husband received letter yesterday informing him that 'a joint account holder has asked us to stop sending out paper statements and pre-advices of interest and charges which apply to the above account'. Neither of us logged onto the Anytime system for some now so we could not have cancelled the statements in error and neither of us requested that they cease the statements. To have them reinstated it is necessary to call the Call Centre or call into a branch. Is this just a tactic to get people to move to e-statements?
