Will moving my Credit card affect credit rating for house purchase

I want to transfer my credit card balance (€950) to PTSB to avail of the 6 months interest free credit. I plan to close my AIB credit card after the transfer. I will probably be looking to purchase a house in 6 months time and wondering will doing this effect my credit rating in any way?

Just keep you old AIB statements.

The bank that you are applying for a mortgage mightnt like to see that you have a 950 CC debit though

It'll be paid off before I apply for a mortgage.

Why not pay off the debt out of your savings now?
