how to calculate one parent family

Hi

just wondering if anyone can help me with the following, I dont understand the maintenance part used as means for OPF payment, it says €95.23 can be offset against maintenance payments is this correct?

Income from part time work €150
Maintenance (1Child) €50

Total = 200-90 (income disregard from Jan 2014) = 110 divide by 2 = 55 one parent family payment as per rates is approx €140.50+29.80(qualified child) = €170.30 total one parent family payment? Where does the €95.23 above come into it?

The first 95.23 of maintenance is not counted as income, so your total income is less than 200.
