I would like to move to.
a 23 year fixed rate mortgage. (this would finish when i'm 60)
fixed at 4%
Linked to a savings account that takes money off the interest of the mortgage if you are saving into it.
No moving penalties if you are moving to a new house (potable product).
No need to pay it off early as you have the savings linked account.
Does this exist in Ireland? I know you could get similar shorter term ones in the UK a few years back, Germany seems to mainly offer long term mortgages, should we be doing this over here.
