Booked flights with Ryanair in the last few days for travel next weekend but now may not have to travel - if I take out insurance now is there any chance of a refund?? Was travelling to see an unwell relative who now seems much better and will be back in Ireland in a week or two please God.

Thanks

No, you won't be covered. Think about the consequences if they allowed everyone do that.

Its not that you won't be covered. It's that there is nothing to cover!

Not a chance

No travel insurance would cover the above eventuallity and even if they did you couldn't insure yourself after it happened; in fact it would be verging on Insurance fraud

Claim back the taxes from ryanair, usually a lot more than the ticket.
