Topaz Oil Supplier

Hi,
Does anyone know who supplies Topaz with oil?
Is it Shell?

I ask because when we had Shell garages I would never buy petrol from them because of their reputation and involvement in Ogoniland in Nigeria and the death of the poet Ken Saro Wiwa.

there are only about 3 oil refineries in Ireland (Dublin, Cork and Limerick), so no matter where you buy you fuel it will generally come from the same place.
Topaz took over the old Shell stations in Ireland a few years ago. But as far as I know, they have no link to Shell.

There is only one oil refinery in the country - at Whitegate, Co Cork run by Phillip 66. All other oil refined products are imported.

They may have no link with Shell, but they were bought by one of Denis O'Brien's companies. To keep his Fianna Fail pals happy, Cowan is on the board.
