Restaurants/Pubs in London

I am heading to London this weekend (5 women) and we are looking for somewhere nice around the city centre to have a nice meal on Saturday night? Nothing too expensive but somewhere with a nice atmosphere and a bit of fun! Where is good spots to go to for pubs/clubs . Have never been to London before and would appreciate any recommendations.

Picadilly, Leicester Square & Soho are the liveliest areas.
