I have sold two apartments in Budapest: I had no choice with the banks.
I then enquired about shutting down the company.
I have a tax bill for €600
Accountants want €1000 to handle the wind up and €400 to continue the postal address.
The lawyer wants €1200 +25% vat
And that's just what I know about so far totalling €3400
There is also a possibility that I will have to travel there to sign some documents.
Can anyone offer advice on how to do it cheaper? I mean it's in everyones interest for clean wind-up. I am happy to pay any tax liability.
If I was to just pay the tax and then shutdown the bank account would that be an option? Can I just write a letter to the tax offices?
