KBC Homeloans Fixed Rates

Hello,

I have just been told by a KBC customer service rep. that they aren't offering fixed rates on a mortgage I have on a rented property, is this legal. I have a variable rate, and was interested in getting the fixed rates.

I can't see why it could be defined as illegal. Surely they are entitled to offer the product set that they prefer? For a lender a fixed rate is a risk. There is no legal entitlement to the rate that you want (Otherwise I'd be on 0%!).

yes same here, i rang them at the end of july for all their fixed rates in investment mortgage to be told that they woul dlet me know in August, in aug i was then told no, we do not offer same.

only variabe, which is going to increase and then we r all in trouble !!
