A house we really like has come on the market @ 325k. From looking at other properties in the area I feel it could potentially sell for more and interest will be high in this property. When buying from a receiver/ N.A.M.A. it should be an open market sale and vendor needs to ensure best price etc. I.e. even if we decided to offer over the asking price, a set process must be followed and a number of weeks and viewings will follow to give other potential bidders 'a chance'.

Anyone know more about this process? I hear it is usually a very slow transaction when NAMA are involved.

If we do decide this house is for us, could an experienced house purchaser give their thoughts on how we should proceed with the bidding? Thanks.
