Transfer from Lyon Airport to City centre

We are a group of eight travelling to Lyon and staying at the Best Western, Cour Charlemange (city centre).
We would appreciate ideas on the best/most economical method of transfer from the Airport to hotel. Is there a minibus servvice. It's a short break so we have cabin bags only.

A bus runs into town fairly frequently to both railway stations. I have done a return a while back with ease. Check the airport website.

I think that the bus shuttle service no longer operates. There is now a train called the Rhone express which takes you right into the city centre. this is well signed from within the terminal and tickets can be booked online. Its only a small 2/3 carriage train, which departs very frequently. Great city to visit !

Thanks for your replies but just for the benefit of others we have now found a mini bus company which will take all 8 of us and luggage directly to our hotel for €82. They will meet our flight
