Alternative to Praia da Luz

Hi,

Heading to Portugal this September with my husband and 1 year old daughter.

Want to avoid the larger towns such as Albufeira, Praia da Rocha etc.

Was in Praia da Luz before and really liked there but want somewhere different to explore however looking for a similar type place to it i.e. nice beach, variety of restaurants and family friendly.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Alvor is a great place and very family friendly , everyone that goes there always returns
 
Sometimes you need to look at things differently not just through the Steiner goggles.

ParkLane what are your requirements for the apartment and complex?
Double bed or twin beds? Two or four people?
Would suggest Luzcar as car hire would be necessary have used them over 15 times to date.
Have a look at Marina Park, Lagos, and the excellent Meia Praia beach.
