I just have a query on our chances of getting a mortgage in these times. I haven't approached a bank yet, but I will need to in the next few months.
We currently have a site, and want to build a house.
We currently have €60k in savings and aggregate annual income of €110k.
Total existing mortgage balance of €240k (2 houses) No other debt and with a good credit history.
What are my chances of getting a mortgage of approx €150k?
Would rental income be taken into account by the bank when assessing our income?
