Images Wont Save to Memory Card

Nokia 3120....installed the micro sd card but I cant get the images to save to the card, I went through all the options to see if there was a box to select/tick but nowt.

To kinda test the card I moved some images to it and they were there and opened up perfectly.

I doubt this but do some phones have to use up the phone's graphic memory first.......before transferring over to Memory Card?
