Not sure if this the correct forum so please move this if necessary.

Does every shareholder of a company, be it a private or public company, have the right to be notified about the AGM and to attend that company's AGM?

Is a company entitled to bar an individual shareholder from attendance under any circumstance?
 
I didn't think so. But perhaps it can depend on the rules (articles & memorandum of association) of the company? For example EBS members can attend general meetings but only voting members (those with specific savings/borrowing records) have a vote.
