freelancing while on credits

Am currently unemployed & signed on for credits (contributory pension) only with no payments to me & wondering what is the position if I was offered & undertook a small amount of freelance work without being self employed ?

You need to let sw know if you are working as you are not entitled to credits for any period of time worked.
