Hi can anyone advise.
I am in a Company share scheme and have just retired.
The company use to buy the shares back at going rate. Two years ago they informed the shareholders that this was no longer the case & would be just done on a case to case basis.
Two weeks ago my colleague left & the Company bought his shares at £x.
They are not willing to buy mine, but have offered them to other employees & I have been told they can get me a buyer but at less than what the Company paid.
I have to sell my shares when I cease to be an employee, they cannot go outside the company and I have to sell.
But is this discriminatory?
