My niece was caring for my mother and had sent in a carers application 11 weeks ago. She hadn't heard back so it is still processing. Unfortunately mam passed unexpectedly. Anyone know what happens to the claim for carers now? Is it just cancelled or can they still process it and pay back money.
Thanks all. Yes as I say the 2 houses were signed over to us when dad died. That's all we want. We're lucky enough that funeral costs won't be an issue and we will split the bill and pay it as soon as possible.
