Yes i'll be isolating the cold mains via the tap under the sink but as regards the hot feed when you say the valve in the attic do you mean the valve between the tank in the attic and the cold feed for the cylinder? Switch complete and 50 yo yos credited to my a/c. All direct debits seem to be going smoothly. Happy out!

Switch is finally complete. I had to leave my old BOI current a/c in credit by 50 Euros of which the sneaks took two seperate charges of 17.50 and 5 ...I presume one of the charges is their quarterly fees. Must ring them about that. They transferred the remainder into my new PTSB a/c. I'm still...

Not yet...still in the switch process. I'm only in line for the 50 smacks though as I'm gonna stay with my current CC provider.

Received all my original documentation back from them today and they informed me our joint a/c will be active tomorrow and should receive cards tomorrow also. Switching date is set for Nov 20th. Fingers crossed it all goes smoothly.
