    Spa weekend in Ireland

I agree with Lorry about Powerscourt, not nearly as fab as it used to be. I love Monart in Enniscorthy, it really is out of this world and would put Powerscourt to shame for the same price range. (I am not affiliated to Monart)

    Is my finger nail ok?

Hi, You have what's known as onycholisis. This is nail plate separation from the nail bed. Get your nail tech (she should know this ) to thin it out and shorten it, paint them a dark colour if it is unsightly. It'll be fine in a couple of weeks when it starts to reattach itself. If you have an...

Yes, it was me! Thanks for the thanks! Congratulations on passing your test positivenote! Hawkeye10, his company is called Dodder School of Motoring I think, but I always just knew him as Frank as he taught all Mr Roxy's family before me. He really is very good, give him a shout.

Ad for Right Price tiles on the radio

While we're on the hated ads subjects, GE Money ones drive me mad. How annoying is that one with the farmer type voice - 'so give them a call or get on the oul website'. I hate, hate, hate their ads. Even 'oul' Harvey doesn't get on my wick as much as GE Money. Oh, and how bad is the...

Hi Rosie, welcome to AAM. There are a few threads on EA'S in Tallaght here. I'm not sure how to link them but if you use the search facility you should find some useful information.

    Fair City Question

LOL :D Exactly what I was thinking! Seriously though, I don't ever want to get old if that's what'll happen to my ears! (Do your ears hang low, do they wobble to and fro....?)

    Fair City Question

And now Lorcan's going to be taken out! While we're on the subject of Fair City, has anyone else noticed the size of Ursula's earlobes!? My God, they're enormous!

which credit cards offer interest free repayments on balance transfer?

I recently got a a UB Zinc card and had no problems at all. It came about 2 1/2 weeks after application was given in to my branch. Maybe it's because I do all my banking with them that it was easier, but have to say I've had no problems so far.

What are the benfits of a UFirst Account

I have one of these too, I wasn't told about the charge until I asked what it was after it appeared on my statement! They told me you can get discounts on hotels and restaurants, concerts etc with it. Have never tried it though. Also my personal loan went down about €10 a month because of it...

    Coffee Syrups

I saw caramel and hazelnut flavours in Tesco Newbridge last night, didn't check the price though, sorry. They were about the same size as a large Chef sauce bottle. HTH

Personal Loan - current rate is 9.06%. (its a variable)- are there better rates?

I have an UB Loan at 6.9 % with this option. I can pay as much off it as I like without penalties. BOI also allowed this before I switched the loan. Just ask them, you never know.

Casual dining in and around Naas

There's also Maudlins House Hotel as you come into Naas from 'the ball'. Lovely restaurant with great food and excellent service, very generous portions for a good price. For Indian, Seeta is my absolute favourite, Weeping Thaiger for Chinese/Thai.
