No if get your passport and they documents are to be sent out at a later date ( birth cert etc ) they will be sent to the address you provided. Just be careful with this.

No Good Friday.......all government offices are closed as they are every year. The other days i know nothing of..........BUT the privilege day can be taken any time from Holy Thursday for a month.....so not every one would take those days mentioned.

Don't forget the Passport Office will be closed next friday..........

Sorry not true, this i can tell you. At least 20 people a day are doing this and leaving with no passports......... I believe it is An Post who have the gurantee in place and not DFA.......

Its not that the fee is being waived, it is that its not being charged as there is no gurantee you'll have the passport for your travel. No guranree on turnaround time says it all.................... A family death or illness is the only way application is being moved forward.

No this service is not available. Papercut this is a link at the top of passport.ie the emergency service it withdrawn as they can not gurantee that you will have it no the day specified. Passport express is about a week behind at the moment and the 10 day gurantee is not valid...
