Someone said they don't as the info is linked to stamp duty returns and they are exempt?

Ulster Be very careful about your Ulster Bank/First Active redress

I have also raised this with UB, and the ombudsman. I can’t believe that the central bank allowed this. My gripe more than anything is that you are also signing up to new t&c inserted in the form......remind you of anything.... how this all started by them trying to insert a tracker removal...

    Separate assessment joint return

hi all, My wife and I are currently separately assessed but my wife only worked for part of 2017. I pay income tax on a rental property so I’m wondering if we can do a joint form 11 return for 2017 as separate assessment. My wife only worked for part of 2017 so I would hopefully get a rebate...

Ulster Ulster Bank redress in this quarter

6 months but I’d fight this. It’s an underhanded tactic to get you to agree to new terms. You were always entitled to the tracker so why should you need to sign this? I’ll confirm by letter but I don’t want to sign up to new terms some of which are again very vague

Ulster Ulster Bank redress in this quarter

So finally got my redress and compensation, figures as expected even tough the compensation amount is a joke! I take it that everyone got a form to sign confirming that you want your tracker rate which I think is another attempt at UB trying to be underhanded. It’s the t&c’s on the form I have...

    Straight mortgage refusal?

GNIB is the residence permit issued to non nationals outside of the EU. You can have stamp 1-4, 4 being the closest thing to permanent residency. Most banks only take stamp 4 for this reason

Sale agreed but Auctioneer has put house back on the market

You have no come back if you didn’t sign a contract I’m afraid. If you sign I’m sure they will proceed but i see where you are coming from with your own contracts

    Straight mortgage refusal?

Stamp 4 is fine for most lenders but you need to show the actual GNIB card and it needs to be valid

    Overcharging payment options

Hi Brendan You might be a bit off with above. Paying interest only means the capital balance stays the same but it doesn’t increase. Taking above if I was charged €20k interest and the correct amount was €15k they should refund the €5k to me in full no? I’m still making payments but only the...
