Computer Science or Mathematics BSc - job prospects?

I've found that sometimes mathematics-related jobs use other words rather than 'mathematics', which is unfortunate. Such as analyst, quantitative, quant, mathematical, statistics etc. Perhaps a combined BSc in Mathematics and Computer Science would cover a lot of bases?

Computer Science or Mathematics BSc - job prospects?

Thanks for the replies. If seeking employment in IT, would a candidate generally be at a disadvantage, or no difference, who has a maths BSc and an IT postgrad as opposed to someone who has a Computer Science BSc? That is, at a disadvantage in the likelihood of securing employment and coping...

I purchased a watch from an eBay seller and the listing stated the watch had 'been tested' and was 'working 100%'. I received the watch and the day/date function was stuck so I paid to return the watch to the seller in England. The seller refunded the total eBay invoice i.e. the watch price +...

Thanks for the link Hoagy, that seems to have gotten rid of the original message about "This program requires at least 3MB of free virtual memory to run". Now what's happening is it's bringing up a message which states: Problem opening “C:\DOCUME~1\user\LOCALS~1\Temp”. -34 Then when I...

eBay seller wants me to close dispute before refund

Update on what happened after I escalated it to a claim. Seller did not make any comments in the online claim form, so after 10 days PayPal closed it and I received no partial refund.

One space or two after a full stop?

Thanks. Yes, that's why I was wondering Lou34 since it's a convention for the typewriter. Though someone was telling me that this convention does not apply when using a PC or printing off text from a PC.

One space or two after a full stop?

When writing text using a PC, is it the convention to leave one space or two between a full stop and a new sentence? Does the same convention apply if the text remains on a word document or website, or alternatively if the text is printed onto paper from the PC? Thanks
