Rental car cost for 10 days

Don't the rental car companies then really complicate pricing when they add in insurance?

    Banking fees

All I'm saying is that Ulster Bank had huge IT problems a short while back, and PTSB has solvency problems and need more capital soon. BofI is the best of a bad lot.

    Banking fees

BofI fees do drive me nuts but I've been with them for over 20 years with no problem. And I've heard of lots of issues with PTSB, ULster Bank etc. Not to mention the solvency of PTSB. For the relatively small amount of fees with BofI I think it's money well spent. I prefer to give this money to...

Prize Bonds are looking attractive alternatives to deposits

I haven't won since October when it seemed I was winning something every week before that. Did someone speculate in this thread that new subscribers won more often than long term subscribers? Sounded like a conspiracy theory to me at the time but .........

Also keep in mind the weak euro (versus dollars) will dilute your spending money.

Anyone thinking of buying a "Tefal Quick Cup" - I wouldn't recommend it

I have a Tassimo machine. Makes teas, coffees, hot chocolates etc. A bar code reader on the drink discs tells the machine to use just the right amount of water at the right temperature for a given brew. Love it.

My five year interest only period is ending on my Ulster bank buy to let mortgage!!

Resurrecting the thread as it looks closest to my query. I took out a buy-to-let mortgage with Ulster Bank 10years ago. It was interest-only for the first five years but should have reverted to Capital+interest after year 5 but it never did. I kept my head down and continued to just pay interest...

Deed of Assignment. Who has it? Why is it needed?

I got in touch with Pepper today (by phone!) and they were very helpful. They do indeed have the deed of assignment they claim. All they want from me is a signed letter given them permission to release to Zurich. They couldn't understand why Zurich had not contacted them directly themselves.

I spoke with my solicitor today and he informs me that Pepper (on behalf of Danske) should have the Deed of Assignment...so I need to chase them down.

Deed of Assignment. Who has it? Why is it needed?

It's a long story but I'm looking to claim from my mortgage protection insurance. The insurance company (Zurich) is looking for the deed of assignment. I believe this document names the bank who should be the beneficiary of the payout. The bank is Danske (through Pepper). I have no idea where...
