    getting out of car finance.

Hi, First thing is not to worry about your credit rating. Before this situation is over we will all be on the register with the credit bureau. There will have to be a new order of things so dont worry about credit ratings. They will be meaningless going forward. Second if you tell the company...

Any Good Books on the subject of Irish business and business people etc.?

Re: Any Good Books? Thanks for that. I found another really good book on business called 'The Seven Habits of Highly Successful People' by a guy called Stephen Covey. Admittedly it is not about Irish business but good none the less. It covers some of the same stuff as 'Grabbing The Oyster'...

SIMI dealer not providing VIN & Cert details - Should I walk away ?

Why not ring SIMI at 01 6761690 and tell them, let them get the dealer to provide you with the information. Thats what they say they are there for. An AA or other mechanic might not be in a position to spot if a car has been clocked or previously written off, so do not rely on such a check. Do...

Digital book readers - would you recommend?

I had a Kindle and never used it. It is just not enjoyable to read for any protracted period. i wenjoy a good read but this just did not have the comfort and enjoyment of an actual book. Fine for short articles but not for a bed time read. Be better spend the considerable cost on a few good books.

Franchise : Redundant last week. I am thinking of going with "Fastway Couriers."

I remember listening to Joe Duffy who did an extensive expose into sharp tactics with courier franchises. The archives on RTE could be a help. I understand it is a very shark ridden area so be careful. No reflection on Fastway just the industry.

I have used one business to help me with business and marketing plans for a number of years. The philosophy they use is so simple and it has helped me. the first thing they did was make me learn this poem: 'I keep six honest serving-men (They taught me all I knew); Their names are What and Why...

    Mobile Home Purchase in Brittany

My family and I have enjoyed a number of nice holidays in campsites in Brittany. I see that for between 20k and 30k one can purchase a nice mobile home in a campsite with annual management fees from 2k PA. This seems to me to be good value, especially as I have three kids under 5yrs. If we are...
