    Alpharooms-terrible customer service

Avoid alpharooms at all costs. They took our money for a two week booking in Lanzarote in July 10, which they knew weeks beforehand did not exist, booking and selling accomadation that wasn't available. The staff at the hotel itself knew they were making a balls of things. They were ringing us...

    Alpharooms First Time Bookings.

Well I wouldn't call it wonderful, but I do agree with you, there is no protection from these establishments. I don't understand how airlines can have a compensation proceedure for over bookings but accomdation providers have no responsibility for their paying customers

    Alpharooms First Time Bookings.

Avoid alpharooms at all costs. They took our money for a two week break in Lanzarote which they knew weeks beforehand did not exist, and left us stranded like fools ringing the customer helpline that never gets answered. The customer service is a joke. 3 weeks after our return and although we...

    John MCCormack Avenue - Walkinstown

Hi, I'm from nearby, its a very quiet and settled area with mostly elderly population, near to Ashleaf shopping centre and a short drive to town. Some of the houses on that road have lane access and large back gardens. Some houses backing on to John Mccormack Ave from Cromwellsfort road have...

Limeklin Green area in Walkinstown Dublin 12.

Re: Walkinstown area The shopping centre beside the pub burned down, there is an ongoing problem between the developer and the County council so it has been a vacant site since then. It was nothing do do with antisocial behaviour. I have never had a problem with traffic. Dublin city centre in...

Limeklin Green area in Walkinstown Dublin 12.

Re: Walkinstown area Limekiln Green is a different estate to the other Limekilns (Grove etc), which are the bungalows and are part of Manortown/Perrystown. Actually I wish someone would decide on what the exact address of Limekiln is, is it Limekiln Farm I know some people chance their arm...

Limeklin Green area in Walkinstown Dublin 12.

Re: Walkinstown area There are nicer parts but not as cheap. It has Tymon park, and good schools close by. I live near, its quiet but neighbourly, there are a lot of young families moving in. They have The Limekiln rounders and community games training on the green in the summer - something...

    Lane built on.

This situation is still unresolved so I am looking for more advice. Since the last post there have been consultations with the Co.council where they were trying to dispose of the right of way, this was voted against, so the right of way remains, however they say their problem now is that a...
