I have approx $20K in US shares available to sell this year as part of my work package. I am planning a career break next year. The share price is currently doing very well. I am wondering if I should sell now as the exchange rate may be weaker by next year? However I am in no desperate need...

Hi, Quick query on sale of first time buyer property - is one liable to pay back stamp duty if the property is sold within 5 years? I assume this stamp duty is only applicable for properties over 317K? Does the same apply for an owner occupier selling to upgrade within 5 years? Many thanks.

Re: "the kilns", portmarnock? any thoughts on the development? i checked with the builders previously and at the moment they do not have planning for gates. However, the estate agents said this would be considered in the future! The Seabrook Manor development does not have gates either.

Ukiyo karaoke bar and restaurant on exchequer st.....such a laugh, 10-15 people per booth with singha beer just a phone call away.....
