    in my experience development land values are going down but agri land is still going up. If you can readily let it out and that will cover your holding costs then I would say that its a good investment

    i'd agree with that - although rentals in the UK are strong at the moment I dont see rental values going up yet. I suppose that is the up side of no one being able to get a mortgage!
