    Current Accounts (Business Banking)

Me again :) As I said above (about 3 years ago), I went with Ulster Bank for my Business Current Account - this gave me transaction-free banking for 3 years and this did include internet banking with Ulster Bank's Bankline service. I also opened a Business Liquidity Manager savings account (to...

    Current Accounts (Business Banking)

Hi, Went with Ulster Bank in the end, I've had my personal accounts with them for over 10 years and found them excellent. Talked to the business manager in my branch, he confirmed that there are no fees for the first 3 years and I can switch to another bank with no penalty whenever I choose...

    Current Accounts (Business Banking)

Hi, Thanks for the info... I called Bank of Scotland (01 267 4000) today to find out more info. I was told that unfortunately they're only offering this account to established businesses with a turnover in excess of €250k. I'll have to look elsewhere!

    Three mobile / 3 mobile

Hello, Just thought I'd share my experiences with 3 mobile, in case anyone else was thinking of joining them. I'd had a work mobile with Vodafone for years, but since leaving the job in September I signed up with 3 after comparing all the different tariffs from O2, Meteor and Vodafone. 3 Pay...

47k in savings, pay off the mortgage?

Hi, Many thanks for the replies - sound advice all round. I'm a firm believer in putting my eggs in a few different baskets, and given the uncertainty about my future career, I'll definitely keep some cash in the likes of Rabo.

47k in savings, pay off the mortgage?

Hello, I've been lurking here for years (great site btw), but this is my first time posting. I've just left my IT job after 11 years in the same company, and I'm now doing some contracting work for 3months. After that I fancy a career change, which could mean reduced income for a while, or I...
