    Noisy neigbours

Had similar problems a few years back. I cintacted the PRTB who were very helpful and can offer some advise. In my circumstance, the house wasnt registered with them. I ended up going to the land registry office (I'm based in Dublin), searched for the plot on the relevant map and just asked to...

Can you find out who the landlord is?

Had similar problems a few years back. Firstly, try the PRTB (number in phone book) Private Renters Tennancy board or something.... The landlord, if he's paying taxes etc should be registered with these. I found these guys brilliant to deal with. If he's not registered with this crowd, you...

    Shower Doors

I moved into a new development recently and I remember some of the apartments were fitted with odd shaped shower trays. As far as I can remember they managed to get shower doors in that House of Vogue place or else in a small shop called the "Shower Centre" on the Malahide Road (Fairview end)...

Took a closer look last night. There were quite a few last night so I got the hoover to them and this morning there wasn't one in site. I got a bit of a better description now.... They are white/cream with possibly a tiny dot of grey on they're body. They have a head and thorax, cant count...

    Tiny white insects

Cool, thanks for all the replies. I generally only see a few of them a day and just end up squashing them for now. I was just worried that some day there would be hundreds of them and then herself would be moving out!

    Tiny white insects

I was probably a bit vague in my description.... There are no plants in the area at all. I've only noticed them in the downstairs toilet which gets no natural light and wouldnt be used too often. The insects themselves are <1mm in size, its hard to tell how many legs they have so I cant...

    Tiny white insects

Hi All, I'v moved into a new house (in an estate) a few months ago. In the downstairs toilet over the past couple of weeks I have noticed a number of tiny white, almost clear, insect type things. I'd say they are no bigger than 1mm in size. I spot one or 2 of them most days. Does anyone...

Best way to clean wooden blinds?

You can use one of those Magic Dusters. (At least I think they are called this) They are just like feather dusters but all of the dust sticks to the fibres. They work well and can be bought in any supermarket
