    Tiles for 1940's fireplace

Anyone know were I can buy tiles for a 1940's fireplace. They form a border along the front and most of them are cracked/broken. I'm not looking for the same design just the same size. They are approx 7cm X 12cm and are curved along the edge. There are companies in the UK but if anyone has found...

    No Will?

Hi Lorrie, I was in a similar situation a year ago when my dad died without making a will. I would suggest you do a Grant yourself if the estate only involves the family home and some bank accounts. Make sure you get your brothers to help you, its not complicated just a matter of getting all...

Martello: I wasnt impressed with the quality of food or service last time I was there so I didnt go back. Borzolino's:My sister loves this place, I...

I agree foxylady but I know from people I work with its not uncommon for siblings to want their share or even contest the will. I suppose property is worth so much these days. Was there any tax implications on signing over your share to your mother?

The site behind my house is sloped and its going to be landscaped by the developer. We have a 2 metre high hedge along this site which would provide some...

    Cost of burial plot

I know in Drogheda it cost 300 for a single and 450 for a double plot. The parish will no longer sell you a plot unless you have someone to bury. Familys use to buy their plots in advance but if they werent used, the plot becomes untidy hence the reason why they are only sold for immediate use.

Sister wants to sell her 1/15 share of parental home

Thanks Guys some interseting comments. Clip around the ear! We've tried that! I suppose for my sister she sees that we are all on the property ladder and her only way getting there is to sell her share of the family house and have a nice deposit. Brendan, my mother is 69 she sees the house as...

Sister wants to sell her 1/15 share of parental home

Short story version, father passed away without leaving a will. The only asset he left was the family house. Under current law my mother is entitled to 2/3 of the house and the other 1/3 is divided among the 5 siblings giving them 1/15 share of the house. My sister wants to cash in her share in...
