    Just heard that Michael McKevitt and 3 others have been found culpable for the Omagh bomb of 1998 in a landmark civil case at Belfast High Court. While I know it will be a small consolation to the bereaved families of the victims, I think its fabulous news!

    I don't think there's necessarily anything wrong with your machine. Its hard to find stats on average programme times, but I did find stats on Bosch, which are currently running at 135 mins average for a similar wash. Mine is a Hotpoint and takes about 90 mins.

    Use an e-cloth. They are fabulous, and you don't need chemicals. My stainless steel splashback is spotless all the time since I started using one of these.

    baths -jets query

    We have a bath with jets. Its not so noisy as to be a problem. As for the jets, if anything, I'd say toes are more of a worry than fingers. However, small children shouldn't be left unattended in a bath, jets or no jets, so we haven't had any problems there either.
