Are there any part time 3rd level engineering courses (preferably civil) for someone with no qualifications? Kilkee accommodation recommendation

Thinking of visiting Kilkee for a few days in June and we will have our 9 month old with us, can anyone recommend accommodation suitable for us? Hoping to keep costs down but I don't think we'll be there for a week so holiday homes might not be an option. I see the Kilkee Bay Hotel has been...

Sorry only seeing this now, we flew into Calgary, did 1 night there then hired a jeep and drove to Banff for 2 nights. During the 2 days we drove up to Lake Louise, Moraine Lake (beautiful place and less crowded than Lake Louise), and up to the boundary between Banff and Jasper national parks...

Does anyone know of any decent reasonably priced topsoil available in the Kildare area for sowing a lawn? Have rang one or two numbers in the local freebie newspapers but they seem to be cowboys so far, looking for a few hundred per tractor trailer load!

Recommendations for Car hire in Canada

Hi folks, can anyone recommend a company for car hire in Canada from Calgary to Vancouver? I know some companies charge a drop off fee if you're going one way so I was hoping to avoid that! Some people have recommended that you wait til you arrive and haggle with them at the desk? Any thoughts?

Cruise of Alaska who to book with

I've checked out some of the websites above and it's still coming out at approx €600 extra per person for a balcony room. I have to say I'm a bit nervous about booking through a website in case of them going bust between now and August, might be slightly negative of me perhaps?

Cruise of Alaska who to book with

I'm currently looking into a similar trip and was shocked by the difference in price for an outside view room and a balcony room on the cruise, €640 per person! Would you really be spending enough time in your room to justify and extra €1280 for a couple? Any advice on this? I know other threads...
