    Mad drivers.

You're dead right! Just noticed December idiot-driving kicking off at the weekend when I had to go over to Liffey Valley. Absolute mayhem driving around there and it becomes a complete free for all in the car park as to what direction people can drive in. The arrows are only rough guidelines it...

    Want to cancel three contract

What are you using it for thats costing so much? I'm on the same deal and I don't think I've ever gone over the monthly charge. I'd be quite a heavy data and text user. Maybe that inlcuded the €160 deposit? You'll get that back six months into your contract. To get around the voicemail charge...

    Football in the street

So therefore people are perfectly entitled to be inconsiderate?! The people with the kids also chose to buy into an estate as much as the people without. That does not give them any automatic entitlements just because they're parents. Why should the people on the street live by what the kids...

Irish Daily Star and pictures of Kate

They'll have to shut down the Internet next. Kate's bangers are all over it now. Reading Broadsheet earlier and they now have a post about it and have published the pictures. They may not be profiting from it like a tabloid rag might but have they not just done exactly the same thing?!

    Football in the street

Leper, this thread and the "elation of our athletes" have absolutely nothing to do with each other. Roker biting his lip and allowing kids to damage his private property does not forge a paralympian...although having read the other thread referenced earlier where the OP's wife nearly pinned...

    Football in the street

Just read down through that old thread. Some of the posters comments are jaw dropping. The "ah sure they're only kids" brigade who raise their eyebrows at people "over-reacting" because their cars are being damaged or don't get any peace and quiet in their own homes is just unbelievable.

    Sunblock

I'd a similar issue a few months back only it was caused by sun-block covered neighbour children climbing up on the car while we were out. Covered in white marks and freaked out coz we couldn't get them off. Ended up using T-Cut, applied very lightly. Found out afterward that Baby Wipes...

    Security camera for garden

If you have a web-cam, download a free software package called Dorgem. Works a treat. You can set it to be motion activated and it'll save pics either to your pc or can upload it to a site.

    Things that drive you nuts!!

The stay-back-I'm-a-parent brigade such as the mother I saw this morning with the back of her car emblazoned with Baby On Board stickers etc. Was behind her on and off for about 15 mins this morning while she sped, drifted in and out of the bus lane to undertake cars, didn't indicate once even...

speeding fine, 68 in 60km zone within 100m of speed change sign

Yup, I was done there too on a saturday morning. I could see the camera flashing at cars but thought I was in the 80 zone so kept on at 80. Doh. It was like shooting fish in a barrel there. Handy little earner for them. Bugs the hell out of me now though when I routinely see people zooming past...

    Things that drive you nuts!!

Having the neighbourhood little darlings plough through our garden, breaking plants etc and yesterday having to spend a good hour trying to clean sun-cream off the car from the kids climbing on the bonnet. Very frustrating having to listen to the righteous-parent brigade raising their eyebrows...

    Mis-Spelling on RTE Weather Forecast

The RTÉ News website is brutal for spelling as well. All just boils down to carelessness.

Husband's cappuccino habit costing €40/month, thinking of buying a cappuccino machine

Latte is a shot of espresso filled up with steamed milk, cappuccino is a shot of espresso (one third), one third steamed milk and one third milk froth. Can definitely recommend the Nespresso for tasty easy coffee. The convenience of them makes them a definite winner.

    Children in restaurants

Thats pretty much what Nick Munier was saying on the radio last week when explaining why Pichet will not be taking children after 5. As usual in Ireland, its the minority that refuse to do what they should that ruin it for everyone else. He was saying that his staff have been abused by parents...
