Hayman...i do find saxo excellent...i have never had an ounce of hastle and find the whole platform very easy to use etc. Even so easy to transfer funds and convert to foreign currency etc when needed.

Will Saxo charge you more or less? if you deal with them directly?? as opposed to going through Sharewatch?

as regards London city airport there is going to be A LOT more competition for flights to and from Dublin from this coming October. Flybe and BA will launch new daily flights in addition to the service operated by the existing Cityjet-Air France service. Flight prices should drop!

Stenaline have bought Celtic Link Ferries and will take over their operation of the Rosslare-Cherbourg-Rosslare route from the 1st of April.

Hi Time..its once a week put the link to Gijon is very interesting. The Britanny ferries sailing on the Pont Aven from Cork to Roscoff is also once a week and does very well. The pont aven is a much bigger ship though.

The new LD Lines ferry service sets sail tonight from Rosslare. It will be interesting to hear how people find the service. The prices seem to be good considering St Nazaire is a 3-4 hour drive further south than Roscoff or Cherbourg.

The ferry used is the 'Scintu'.

What you should watch out for is the selling of UK sourced beers. I bought a pack of Carlsberg from my local Londis a few weeks ago at a bargain price. i noticed when i got home that it had been brewed in the Uk for the Uk market and it was only 3.8% abv versus the 4.3% abv Carlsberg...

I would assume its a much busier route giving ryanair a much higher load factor.
