    smartelectrics.ie any recommendations/opinions?

Hi, I was interested in getting storage heaters in my home replaced and had a guy out from this company to have a look at our space. He charged €30 to come out and this would be refunded if we went ahead with an order. I have tried a couple of times to reach them on the phone to get a...

Printer Recommendation for 1,000 to 2,000 copies per month

I think to save money it will depend on your location. There might be less expensive printers but to have the prints collected or sent will negate any savings. Have you tried getting a quote from the likes of Snap or ProntaPrint? They might be able to help.

    Using DVD player in Canada

Hi Slim, The plug should only require an adaptor and not a convertor. Just to note the DVDs in Canada are a different region so they probably won't play on his machine. addob

Hi Dodo, We use a cattery that might be a bit further out than you're looking just past Blessington on the N81 called Cattery Cottage. We both - as well as the cat - love the place and Martina that runs it. They charge €12 per day and this includes food. Although you might consider it a...

Hi Warren, I have been to The Heritage twice, once last year in March and then agin for Valentine's Weekend this year. Both times were very nice but I was on a package deal (B&B, dinner, spa). As a returning customer I was able to avail of a room upgrade and this room was complete luxury...

Alright. I'll admit it that I'm looking forward to it. I have the day off to watch the festivities and have my Royal Wedding mug for my tea. And I'm fine with that - as much as my OH and co workers roll their eyes :)

Yes, the hot water is seperate from the heating. Other have explained storage heaters - we have heard from neighbours that if you leave the heating on all th etime your electricity bill can be crazy! Also, I find that the majority of the heat is gone from them by the time I get home from work...

People who won't turn on the heating

We don't turn the heat on during the week. We live in an apartment and have storage heaters - I'll be damned if I'm going to keep an empty apartment heated for the cat during the day! In the evenings I'll put on an extra jumper or go to bed early where we have an electric matress cover, on...
