Electric Car Value Trade In. Please Help

Didn't know that, very interesting. 46kph is painfully slow & not a useful indicator for consumers that are travelling long motorway distances. The standards authority could do with adding a second tier to test the range at speeds of say 110-120kph in both warm & cold conditions.

Electric Car Value Trade In. Please Help

This may be true in the sense that no one has to engage in commercial negotiations that they don't want to however if the OP has been sold a pup or mis sold a car with misinformation on it's range, even allowing for variance then that is a different story. I understand that is not the angle the...

Mortgage with one UK salary and one Irish?

Yes, I had a similar situation. In our experience the mortgage provider added a 25% loading on top of the overseas earnings. What does this mean? Lets say you earn GBP100k per annum = EUR~117k. When calaculating your affordability capacity the bank will reduce the EUR117k by 25% so they will...

    Agri relief re inheritance

Can you expand on this a little @T McGibney. I would have assumed that the agri relief is hard coupled to the farm. This is of potential interest but I am completely uninformed on the topic. appreciate any light you can shed on the topic.

    Bungalow Renovation

not less than EUR50k would be my guess. Wold you consider adding 50k onto your purchase price & relook at the market to see what you could get in a better condition? Try saving yourself some hardship & inflation risk & shoddy workmanship risk & schedule risk.

    Sell Rental or hold

EUR5,160/annum after the mortgage is paid up. Take off another EUR1,000 for property tax & expenses = 4,160. Take off say 33% for income tax = ~EUR2,745 to you at the end of the year. Sell it & release ~EUR100k in equity & put it to work either paying off your home mortgage or investment...

Home office at rear of garden

How do other buinesses that conduct their business on their residential property handle this? Think about a doctor who's surgery is located in his home or a shopkeepr/publican who live at the back of the shop/pub. There must be precedence for this type of arrangement too. Maybe that' a mixed...
