never heard of german porcelain either, test tile by a drop of water, should form convex bubble , then okay, if lies flat and soaks in ,needs sealing. or use a colouring marker, write on tile,...

you would only be liable in any event if there was neglect on your behalf, the insurance mainly from a householders perspective is to cover any property damage or personal injury that may be caused...

some builders use a very dry mix for pointing so as not to stain the stone,probably a bit too dry in your case, sealing will solve the problem

sorry for delay. the last time i fitted one i got it through Market Hardware in Ennis, Brooks are the irish agents, any store by them will supply. also i am pretty sure you can get them through...

it is the heat from the pipes that is causing the problem, that section will have to come up and relayed with a flexi floor adhesive

2 bathroomfloors are actually way slower than a 15 yd kitchen floor. 350 is pretty okay if you know he is good. 600 for kitchen floor was a total ripoff, at max 300

the decorators should do the repair work, but that is probably another issue. most hardware shops and certainly any of the wood suppliers sell a special kit for wood repairs. how effective they will...
