Ive never seen one but i would imagine a DFF built into the w/top would be fairly dangerous re the low w/top height, plus the issue of cleaning emptying etc.

YES you can fit a door closer usually found on fire doors etc to make sure they stay closed, any builders providers or hardware will have them in stock . easy to fit with minimal tools
