I am wondering if anybody has bought in this development recently? I am interested in the b-type semi-detached and am wondering if there were any issues with the houses in the development?

I've looked at this development and the finish isn't great. Also you will get a lot of aircraft noise - its just under the flight path from the airport at the top of the hill.
The estate is a long way from the nearest shop. You'll be in the car half your life as you need to jump in the car to get anywhere - no footpaths on the hill - poor infrastructure for the number of houses being built.

As with most developments i would advise to hold off. Prices have a good way to fall yet.

I have spoken to people living in the Matthew Hill, the estate up the road and they didn't seem to have any problem with noise from the airport, but I suppose this would depend on how sensitive you were to noise!

Are there any other developments you have seen on that side of the city?

Can you advise further re the finish?

Cheers!

I just felt that the houses I saw (not the showhouses - but the finished units ready for sale) were very plain and that corners had been cut in the specification and fit out to save money.
Also some previous posts to consider.

Not sure about other developments on that side of town. Either way same rules apply. Prices are only heading one way with taxes set to increase in the weeks ahead. Suggest that you rent or ask the builder if they operate a rent to buy scheme.
