Hi
Can anyone advise me if I receive a settlement from a work injury, am I still entitled to receive a social welfare payment.

All depends what social welfare payment you are receiving, if it is based on prsi contributions then that should continue until it's end date if you are not back to work by then. If it's a means tested payment then the settlement could affect it, again depending what payment you are on as some have a higher threshold of savings allowed than others.

A visit or call to a Citizens Info office would advise you where you stand.
